Firstly, calling me slow in the head because I have a different opinion from you shows your lack of maturity and young age. Secondly, you said they were on a “break” from each other. They actually broke up and completely separated from each other. It would have been so so so much worse if they actually said they were taking a “break” from each other (reflecting on each problems). Taking a break implies getting back together later, but this was not their plan. Kang Woojin loved Haekyung even when they broke up. If you broke up with your first love and then see them again, while getting to the point of being so obsessive that you become a red flag, then you should NOT have been dating anyone other than that person. It simply is not fair to your partner.
Wow chill, I said break bc they ended up together in the story anyways. But u proved my point. Why get so frustrated over something dumb, you said it yourself. They broke up? Their individual experiences during those times doesn't affect each other at all because again, they weren't partners to begin with at that time period. It sounds to me ur jus complaining bc the ml isn't a virgin mary?. But then again I guess it's your own emotions so I don't have much to say over it . But i do think t's stupid to apply those morals to the characters. To each their own

When I first read this one, I actually hate that fact since I prefer it when the ML is not too experienced, better yet, a complete virgin since as he said, he's still in love with haekyung. It feels unfair and even if its actually not cheating since they broke up, I still feel sad for the MC. But then I realized, I am being too one sided with the blame. Haekyung also slept with other people, dated other people and even tho he also loved the ML, he gave his heart to the people he dated, example, the recent ex(greenhaired guy), unlike woojin who slept with people who have a resemblance with haekyung.
PS: Your opinion is valid, i just commented this cause I have the same opinion as you at first and it caused me to not enjoy the story even tho I like this kind of ML. Just hope that my realization can help you enjoy the story when you read it again.
I tried reframing my mind recently to think this way and I agree with you. Both are at fault. All of this could have been avoided with communication and that is what pisses me off the most. Like it is NOT that hard to talk to your partner if something is happening.
Even though it weirded me out, they aren't technically wrong but also aren't right. Their story has been pretty messy to begin with.
–Woojin blackmailed Haekyung into dating him when they were young (though they weren't official).
–Haekyung ran away because he didn't want to be a burden on either his family or Woojin and his family.
–Woojin was so hurt that he wanted to hunt Haekyung but didn't. He became violent and probably slept around to not lose himself to anger on Haekyung.
–Haekyung dated others to get over Woojin but never really did. Even that psycho noticed that Haekyung's heart was somewhere else.
–After reuniting, Woojin was basically taking out his supressed anger and even after clearing things out it took Haekyung a long time to get over his trauma caused by his past (starting with Woojin's grandfather).
Regarding your main topic, what I'm basically saying is that Woojin wasn't just in love with Haekyung, he was hurt and angry too. You say that communicating would have solved everything but he was never sane enough to calmly talk. Plus, his father and grandfather wouldn't have listened.
Is it just me or it pisses me off SO much that Woojin has always been in love with Haekyung since the start, BUT THEN HE GOES AROUND CLUBBING IN THE AMERICAS, HAS THREESOMES, AND DATES LITERAL PEOPLE ONLY WANTING HIS MONEY. Why would you go around having sex with other people when you are infatuated with someone else. I thought he was a virgin when I read it the first time (I must have skipped something), but then when I came back to reread the story and read that one scene where he was in the club and talking about the threesome that he had, a giant flame ignited inside of me. I just don’t understand how you can love someone and have sex and date someone else. Wouldn’t that be unfair to your partner? Kang Woojin said that he was trying to forget about Haekyung, but yall…… we all know he was never forgetting his man. Ok I’m done with my rant and I know I’ll get a lot of thumbs down on this since it’s probably an unpopular opinion. If you like dih or sex you go do that and slay, but if you love someone who hasn’t cheated on you just get them back bro. AND MISUNDERSTANDINGS OMG THEY COULD HAVE BEEN TOGETHER SINCE CHILDHOOD IF IT WASNT FOR FUCKING MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
