LOL they were cooking icl!! i’ve been reading all day. I knew bro knew ball when i saw reunion in the list. It’s honestly not similar story wise, but definitely a top tier BL. I second that recommendation if you haven’t read that one

I finished “The World Without You”, and can confirm that one is angsty but also toxic asf i fear. I still enjoyed reading, but unlike 16647, the ML didn’t treat the MC well all the time. He was definitely more of a red flag in that regard but the mental illness and depression depictions were really good.

I’m also like halfway through “Beyond Memories“ and it’s really good too. Definitely different from 16647 too but the plot is interestinggggg

It’s not a dark psychological one like 16647 and it’s super short but it deals with grief and the MC saves the ML from a suicide attempt when they were younger. I think the hurt/comfort in this has a similar but it’s definitely less dark.The smut is fire tho!

This one is definitely not everyone’s cuppa tea. But neither is 16647 lolll. Also no smut bc it’s set in high school. I read this back in 2020 so my memory is a little hazy but it’s set in a world where majority of the people physically can’t lie, but the MC can and he gets caught in a lie by the ML who basically blackmails him to keep his secret. And then they develop this twisted relationship of sorts. I rmr the plot had some dark concepts and character lore. And the world building sets it up to be a deep psychological story. It was lowkey toxic but in its own right (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
