It really is that deep for Tei tho the man has self esteem issues and is already constantly questioning his worth. He’s been trying to offer up the idea of Shuraka gaining another partner for the last few chapters. Each time he does Shuraka gets mad. Only for Tei to find out he already has Concubines. If anything it’s Tei questioning his purpose even more than he already was. And Shuraka seems to be a sexually inexperienced and that’s clear from his interactions with Tei, he’s clearly new to it as he’s been literally taking a drug to suppress his sexual drive. And idk wat u mean by we expected him to be a green flag cuz of his looks ..

Fr. Big powers or ppl wanting to be in favor would often gift concubines. And seeing from his concubines they seem educated and smart. Concubines aren't just for sleeping with they can be talking buddies, someone to get advice from (which why im assuming happened, talked to a male concubine to ask how its done)

i didn't point to Tei about the deepth, I mean like, the way y'all reacting. if I'm not wrong, kings sometimes can't reject the offer to take concubines due to relation politics. it's all actually just a political things. and in politics, you can't bring your feelings into it.

Shuraka gets mad when Tei offer him to get another partner maybe bcs he fall for Tei, that's why he keep inexperienced on sex and others. but that doesn't meant he shouldn't have concubines. he's a king, I repeat. he has responsibility and complicated things like this politics shit.

No, no I totally get that! Not disagreeing with you there. But I’m just saying I feel like Tei is valid in his reaction, and readers are too in acknowledging that this is something that should have been brought up Shuraka. Because you’re right, it is complicated and it needs to be talked about.

Tei obviously wasn’t expecting Shuraka to have concubines and this is resulting in him doubting himself to the point of making himself sick. Which is why people are sympathizing for him so much.

idk, i mean Tei was valid to have that reaction. but it doesn't mean Shuraka should've bring that up too. if I remember Tei never ask anything about it, or he has? besides, we haven't seen Shuraka side either. don't judge a book by its cover, lol!

and the way ppl react was too much I think.
