It makes total sense for a scumbag CEO to not go down and lose everything (his main source of wealth, status, reputation, relationships) without a fight, especially with his connections and money. But I won't hide that I'm a little irriated because we were so close to Sumire's revenge ending and now we got a new can of worms to deal with, not even sure how she will handle herself there if he finds out that it was her against him since rich people like to play dirty. Oh well, more drama, the better, but these cliffhangers will be the end of me (especially since it's still on-going on the original website and we are 3 chapters away from catching up..)
EDIT: So I guess the OG website just doesn't show the newest chapters for me. Had no idea it had more than to 92. And here I was, stressed that I'd have to take a hiatus and eventually reread to remember everything. Seems I stressed myself (and some others,) for nothing, sorry yall
