I’ve read this before, and I’m too lazy to reread the entire thing so pretty much it’s ch 1-40 and skip to ch 118 if the plot’s place is too slow haha
We are missing the creator’s note tho, because in the original novel MC was supposed to end up with dirty-blond guard, but the artist was team dragon so they had the creator’s permission to change the ending.
Which I still believe was the better choice even though it feels like MC was unnecessarily tormented by her predecessor’s companions and enemies. (Which is why I skipped the whole thing lol). This kinda reminds me of The Hero Went Crazy Even Though I'm the One Who Died but without the newborn soul MC or trauma from past lives
Still, I am a sucker for childhood friends to lovers, and he truly did want to marry her from the entire time of knowing her and live a happy life together. I remember hoping and praying that he wasn’t going to just be a rebound for MC. (Also his mom telling her that her son was not about to join a harem lmaooo) The ending may feel rushed, but technically it’s not true to the novel so I think it’s a fair compromise.
Either way, she was always going to have an age-gap issue because her type is older guys and living long with her demon blood, so why not go with the oldest-? Hahaha ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
