I think the author doesn't let us know on purpose! My interpretation is that she wants to show Martin is the one who showed up for the child regardless if it was his or not :)

In the flashback, Scott (pink hair) said he would do a paternity test and he wanted whomever was the father to be responsible. Present Scott (blonde hair) lives with Martin and the baby so it's obviously his.

Do we find out who that Dad is? I see he ends up with Martin (i think that is the right name) because i had a nosy and there are scenes with them together even at the end, but i can't tell who the Dad is? It seems implied its Martin but he said he was staying beside him regardless who the Dad is, so that doesn't tell us anything other than he wasn't lying.
