About that game/novel part, MC once said that it's a game originally but the one they are inside rn is fanfic written by mushroom so the chara kinda originally from this one game but mushroom ship them I guess so she make a fanfic about it. Like genshin and people make fanfic about tartali or other ships ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ I hope this helps you understand even a lil bit about it

MC originally is from modern time like got transmigrated into the game/book (unsure which one it is because he say it's a game but Mashroom say it's her novel) anyways ML pretends he was an omega because people say he is one but he ain't so he just went along pretending to be an omege also maybe to protect against his step mom. ML and MC went on an adventure to find some weird wishing thingy(can't remember I got a gold fish brain). Anyways, they get equipment like a scroll and a necklace that help MC transform into a human but in spiritual form(i think). i'm a skip a whole ark it's where they went back to the golden kingdom as adults. fuck i can't skip it cause that where they did it(if you know what i mean ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ). The king wants to marry out ML and MC's feelings are still vague, but ML is hitting on his ass like fucking crazy. The stepmother plans to drug ML so he his reputation will be dragged in the mud because he will go into heat and an omega going into heat is looked down upon. The red dragon want MC to mark ML because it prevents ML from getting married and the golden kingdom from forming an alliance with other countries. MC finally learn to transform into a human body with his dragon body. The ML act like he is drinking the drug to go into heat the fucking weird brother has feelings for ML and was about to SA him, but MC came in an carry the ML away. They went to a tower that ML built for MC, and this is where it's revealed that ML is actually a fucking Top Alpha anyways he (CNC because MC is a dragon, he can stop it but he didn't) so he become the Uke and ML mark MC and everything MC is the one that mark ML because no one know he's actually an Alpha. The stepmother is working with the demon king and put the emperor in a sleep coma. i'm a skipping an ark here with the demon king...
The demon king takes over the Emperor's body and makes the golden vein give some weird black magic shit happen. ML uses black magic to defeat the demon king, but in the process, he falls into the golden vein. Everyone says ML is dead, but MC doesn't agree. He and Mashroom go on an adventure to get her keyboard, but it was stolen by the black prince*(it's the ML he's brainwashed by the fucking demon king). ML stabbed MC, not knowing he's his man, with the dragon spear, which almost went through the heart, but was saved by some sea kingdom. MC infiltrated the demon world. ML thinks the demon king is his father and gives the divine keyboard to him and takes weird drugs that prevent him from lying, and if he lies, some weird fucking flower will grow from his chest and kill him*(i think). ML can smell MC's scent that disguises himself as a goblin, and ML went to MC, saying he looks familiar, and MC was like no he just got their he came down from the north village. ML remembers some hot fucking jucy steamy scene, just one flash of MC and was like he's crazy for thinking that way because MC is an alpha. eventually ML give MC a job, also disguised as a goblin to work for the prince, who is him. MC first day on the job was to serve the prince and he was giving off his scent and MC was like keep it together, we have a task to complete he was in the mood after smelling the scent of his man. Then ML revealed that he knew he is the black dragon because of his scent. ML pushed down MC and questioned MC why he's resisting him so much, that maybe that's why the golden prince left him. MC was pissed off, saying to ML he is the Golden prince and not some dark prince, and they were about to do it, but they made too much noise, so MC had to jump out the window. ML betrayed the demon king and went with MC to the golden kingdom just to steal the keyboard and use it himself to rule the world. MC knew ML would try some shit so in the past, they set up double barriers in the kingdom. eventually got pulled into another novel called the empress nightmare or some shit like that, and the demon king planned for them to die in that book. keyword plan idk if it will happen yet
