I know right? But I can see why he doesn't. He's been conditioned his entire life to believe he's worthless and really, no one proved him wrong. Even his uncle, although he loves him, didn't really step into the situation when Cheol was young. And in the present you can see that the uncle feels torn because he loves both his brother and his nephew. Even though he ultimately chooses his nephew over his brother, it took way too long for him to get to that point. Ji Minyeong was the only one who stood by him and he betrayed him by outing him. So in Cheol's eyes he doesn't really have someone fully in his corner.

Im so irritated i understand the whole trauma thing and all but i cant wait for him to grow a pair of balls and kick that man right on his chest. Glad he grabbed the bat and spoke his piece, tho it shouldnt have ended with him running away, a good curb stomp will suffice in the upcoming chapters lol
