Yeah, it really did. Through season 1, I was REALLY hoping he would get like a redemption arc or something. You know, typical dark yaoi-esque. But no. There's no redemption. Hes beyond even death. He needs to actually suffer now.
I'm sorry but this is so funny I don't know how anybody would read this and think Lister was going to get a redemption arc. He was villain from Day 1.
Oh, I know, but it sometimes made it seem like Lister felt bad for being a (insert as horrible of a name as possible), so maybe, just maybe, he would realize he was a (censor) and, idk, help or something. I knew he was a villain, dont get me wrong, but I thought he was one of many, not THE villain.
I didnt 100% hate lister until this last episode. Ive been steadily hating him more and more but now I want to see him f*cking suffer
