I fully agree with you on this, but come on the real problem in this situation is communication!!! Just tell him that him helping his past crush is bothering you yk? That’s what annoys me about seojoon, he doesn’t speak up!
Tbf he’s been staying quiet for 12 years and doesn’t fully trust blondie (on him liking him) and watching him help his crush most likely put him in a “why would I say anything, I was ready to leave and move on anyway” headspace.
But at least if he's really not wanting to give it a try with him , why promise him at all yk?
How are some ppl blaming Seojoon like hello? Are we reading the same thing? Blondie was too busy crushing on the idealization of a childhood friend who he hadn’t seen in at least 20+ years (and it wasn’t even a long childhood friendship like they knew each other for a year or smth) to notice Seojoon standing by his side for 12 years. Now if you read properly, Seojoon never asked for his feelings to be reciprocated, in fact, he was ready to leave all behind and move on. He even rejected the idea of blondie “getting to know him” at first but was slowly opening up until he saw once again blondie going to his old crush, which might not mean much to him/he was just helping, but for Seojoon is going back a hundred steps back.
Might be biased since I hated blondie from day 1, but I’m 100% on Seojoon’s side.
