He knows, its part of why he hates himself for it. For not being able to like protect the mc and all lat, I feel just deep sadness from brett its heartbreaking looking at him looking lifeless when he was wronged I fr cried.
I cried too. It was really difficult to read that as a survivor myself. I don't think Hayden could have done anything since Brett doesn't allow himself to show any vulnerability (or at least in that part of the story) I hope they can grow even closer now.
