I wonder if this is author's first work or something. Like, it really tried to put a lot of themes in there, questionable ones to say the least, and it got worse and worse but the art was good and it had some level of mature and realistic content. But still, him feeling attraction for the seme as a kid is always such a disgusting thing to mention. He could have said he liked the dad and wanted some time apart from that family.
