I've read the novel, do you really want the spoiler? She's the daughter I'd rigail Victor (sorry if I wrote the name uncoorect I'm not good with foreign names), she was a Russian scientist (something similar), and the US/ Russia is after his research he did about 30 years ago.. So if these country get a little wind about his daughter's existence they might use her to blackmail her father to get those research.. The research was something that could manipulate someone's brain.. Like make them your puppet.. There are alot more spoiler if you want you can ask me..
