I knowwww i get the ick bwhahahaha cuz ive lied with incompetent men all my life and its so tiring

I'll be fair to the son and say he probably thinks MC is being forced to marry him. I'd also resist suddenly marrying a stranger who just got their engagement broken because of my dad.
