it’s fine a lot of people might not know other places that america don’t accept same sex marriage, so what Mr.Kwon decided is to adopt Ho into his family so he can formally take his last name. Although unconventional it’s how a lot of same sex couples marry in other countries
yup! this makes them legally family in countries where same sex marriage isnt legal. so if there are any emergencies, they can sign for each other as guardian or family i.e. medical forms, if one of them needs surgery etc. because you cant do that as boyfriends. that relationship isnt recognised by the state. legal adoption into the family would be recognised
