Totoki was just helping Yohira, he wasn’t his kid. The uncle and Totoki was to make it look like the ml needed to keep a close eye on Yohira because he could be a possible heir to their family.
so whatever happened with totoki's child was left unanswered right? i gather the uncle was having an affair with totoki but i thought it was said in the first chapter that he died?
No they didn’t die. The death was fabricated, like they got into an accident but they were later transferred to a different hospital. The uncle and Totoki were both having an affair and I guess the uncle didn’t want to come back to the ml’s aunt cuz he was unhappy in that relationship. And yes Totoki’s child can be said that it was the uncle’s. like they didn’t confirm it but you can kinda guess that it was the uncle’s because why would they escape and live completely somewhere else.
so can someone explain what was the whole deal with Totoki and the uncle? like i think i gathered that totoki helped kids in the slums? but what about his own kid? and what was the link between totoki, yoshira and the uncle? and wasn't the uncle dead? i don't get it maaaaan
