I would agree if that were the case but he’s not really keeping him as a pet. He was before he knew Haedong was a shifter but once he found out they’ve been more like roommates, and he’s only in cat form when he wants to be. Haedong is just spending more time as a cat/Dodong right now because of the variety show filming since the public only knows him as ML’s cat. Plus ML is a cat (tiger) shifter too after all.
Maybe i am being too woke but the fact that cat hybrids are a known thing and he still keeps a cat as a pet it feel kinda racist but oh well
