there's this one particular scene in the story that I could never forget because of how beautifully heartwrenching it is: the last night haru shared with yuki, ending his years-long entrapment of guilt and refusal to move on from shigure's memories.
those tears streaming down heavily like a dam that has been blocked as he spoke "I loved him" signified that he had finally let go of shigure as much as he had freed his bottled emotions from himself. IT'S NOW ETCHED IN MY MEMORY !! how i wish we could get an extra chapter of them being a couple :((
