i don’t think there’s a specific moment where he goes “omg im in love”. it’s more that taekjoo’s stubborn will to keep living is what draws him in and eventually turns into a mix of love and obsession. that’s also why he keeps abusing him, cause likes watching taekjoo fight for his life.
Zhenyas Character is very hard to understand he’s so complex and so detailed as a character that even the manwha doesn’t do him justice. I would say he loves him more like a prized possession that he never wants to let go of considering the fact that he calls taekjoo his “ Anastasia”. He does cherish taekjoo I would say but considering how fucked he is as a person it is very hard to see that. （￣へ￣）
