in his mind, if he chooses the title, he loses kim dan, if he chooses kim dan, he loses the title... with how he treated kim dan, he believes he cant have both so its either one or the other
for the first time in his life, he has something that is just as important as winning but he has to choice which one he wants most and that decision is distracting him and making him lose focus
I hope he figures out a way to have both honestly
he just has to tell kim dan how he feels and that he wants to be with him regardless of if he wins or loses
