He said it took him just months to get over his crush while also saying he had an interest in Wooyeon back then too. Dawg, his little crush wasn't that deep then smh. I don't understand why he would want to test Wooyeon and be sure when wooyeon literally says he's never gotten over him. Sure dohyun is good looking but bro is so insufferable right now.
Idk, maybe I’m wrong, but when he said that he wants an “emotional edge”, I took it more as him saying he wants the upper hand in the relationship, rather than it being about him “feeling alive”.
Again, maybe this is my misinterpretation, but I think because of everything that happened in the Omega Complex story, he wants to have the upper hand in relationships so that he can be sure the other person likes him and likes him more than he likes them.
He followed up by saying, “If it’s not that you like me, and you are mistaken because of those feelings from the past, then I’m at a huge loss”(Ch 31). I think that his heartbreak from the last story really affected him, so he’s playing this push and pull game to protect himself and test Yeon-ah’s feelings. He’s afraid of history repeating itself, but that fear is also making him act like an idiot, especially with his nonchalant nonsense.
