For me it leaves a bad taste in the mouth but if its used to push forward the story then i dont mind as much (i just question how will it be used to the story that they really really need to include it). But there really are story out there rn, and its becoming a trend (a kink?) that they use violence excessively and unprovoked when it doesnt even makes sense to the plot. Its giving cheap writing and shallow imagination. Also yea i think the tone of the story and the characters is used to disguise the violence as palatable i think. Its hard to be offended when the victims themselves arent offended. But no, liking sa violence rape etc doesnt make u have superior taste. It only makes u shallow and actually the opposite. Cos how come ur taste is soo one sided. For me if thats their only criteria of good stories and then best avoid them. They dont read for the beauty of literature and fiction (smut can have beautiful literature too) but for the trends.
are y'all okay with rape in some of these manhwas? i am asking bcz the most of the people in yaoitwt really are. they think if you don't like abuse , rape, sa you just have bland taste. personally, it makes me throw up when the victims falls in love with their abusers or rapists. like how can you?? ik it's all fictional and i still read some the stories but I still can't grasp the matter. i just skip those chapts and continue reading bcz sometimes the stories are good. anyway its everyone's own choice.
