That sounds like your own personal definition of porn. It's explicit material that was created to arouse, ie, porn. Who says porn can't be art or have value? I'd argue that most porn is art. It's just often very utilitarian art.

I can see your point, however, the reason why some people don't like your comment is because of your tone. The way you're saying this, it's like you're insulting them. There's other way to express and explain what this manga genuinely means.

some ppl see sex and their knee-jerk reaction is that it is porn. You have to be the world's most shallow, crude, tasteless bum to see Matsuo's beautiful art that way. Some ppl also fail to perceive story structure unless it hits them in the face.
Some people are quite puritanistic in these ways. They're the same ppl whose nervous laughter is an easy "tell" that they're tense and uncomfortable with their own sexuality.
It is 24 pages long for chrissakes and must be faithful to its original canon, a world that isn't easy. Pureslider has done a beautiful job. Some respect is due this excellent artist. This is not porn.
