It's not for me, jjk grew up in hunger that shoved down all the emotions he had, Because he needs to raise up so he never had to go through all of this again. When you have years of trauma and unresolved feelings rooting inside, one heartfelt moment make your body and mind make you feel you're weak and mess. That's why he's feeling like going backwards but she's baby steps. Right now championship important because it's his career and that lauda used wrong methods to win..he might be anxious about that too. For now he needs to gather himself even if has go backwards be hard to win.
Girrrllll that beach scene had so much more potential like if they were more open w their feelings w each other it could’ve helped his headspace and he would’ve gotten both Dan and champion. I just feel like the author is going backwards to make the story longer
