Yup, this basically shows how Taeha is inexperienced in relationship yet at the same time he is trying his best to go at Hae soo's pace. It might not be the best way but the it is the best way that he could come up with.
He is so sweet to her like he knows she won’t accept handouts so he goes out of his way to make it seem like she got it on her own merit and for that i love him down bad, however i’m not sure how she will react when the truth comes out but i so hope they actually communicate with each-other when that time comes so she can understand why he hid it and not take it as him making fun of her or something.
