For me personally, the redemption feels too easy. Dan suffered a lot because of this ass, and he just hasn't done anything in particular to make all of that even partially overlookable. He's just being a decent human being now, like good job, here's a trophy made of gorilla shit for ur not efforts
Truee, it’s just lackluster. He was made to be a really bad piece of shit, and for nothing /sighs. The backstory didn’t really make that much impact/justification to his actions (at least for me and some ppl). Will probably just think of it as PWP in the early chaps /shrugs
Idk why the redemption arc feels like it’s lacking something but it is what it is idc anymore, just happy to see Dan healthier (￣ε(#￣)Σ
Also, pretending those foul earlier chapters never existed kind of helps (▰˘x˘▰)
