i've been looking for a reason as to why they haven't continued the comic, but that makes sense as to why they haven't continued. Thanks for leaving this comment here, I ended up on her Patreon to read the novel instead.

I don't read this but I've seen it pop up on my feed a lot and apparently the author and artist were frustrated by their work circulating on illegal sites but they're continuing the novel, which has extra illustrations as well. There's no set release date for season 2 but they're also not fully dropping it, it may or may not come back, no one knows.
