I do have a mild gripe about the title - even though MC classifies herself as an extra, she is not a transmigrator. She might have picked up the term from reading books at the orphanage, but it feels out of place when it’s modern-day slang. I wish the term was “stand-in” or “standby” but that’s just me griping about English haha
If she was going to be such an avid reader, she might as well have found out about daughters of moonlight earlier instead of having it as a plot device at the end.
I thought the twist was that they were fraternal twins, or maybe I got confused with another story, because it's the real one getting revenge for the fake and herself. Besties for life until death!
Childhood acquaintance redhead ML. And it's actually cannon!! I'm always happy when the childhood one wins~!
Not that Damian was a bad choice either, he was a typical "you're the first one to reject me like this" obsessive vilian who couldn't have her. But he did do what she asked, which was to perish in the end.
I liked their dynamic and how natural they got together. Two souls from the same place who were familiar with each other and took comfort in each other, and gradually grew attracted to the other. But he also questioned his feelings for her, such as why would he do this for her if he was only going to be second place and let her take advantage of him.
He did win endgame, but it’s a bit sad because he only won due to the favorable circumstances and outcomes. In another life, they wouldn’t be together.
They really did shove the dad to the side, and went happy ending! Hahaha
