I completely agree with you! I'm not sure if it's only in Japan, but the same theme is always present in male x male relationship mangas. (Especially if there are children in the story.) + Why doesn't the author never take into account the possibility of bisexuality, asexuality etc. Not everyone is either hetero, gay or lesbian

I'm really trying to like this cause it's wholesome, but being honest, it's so generic and boring for me. The characters have no personality, and it's the typical "mother like" uke and the seme who falls in love just cause the uke is doing household chores and taking care of his grown ass. Pretty typical, pretty average. Oh and the seme is either gay or bisexual since he fell in love with a man, but ofc, typical yaoi manga, no one will admit either. 5/10. I'm just reading it for the sake of completing it atp
