Yeah right before this I kind of feel like it's fine to enforce modern value into the world they're in but that thinking was too naive , it can be done but just like you said it's not solid even in our world to achieve this much freedom/human rights take centuries , to suddenly implement our moral values without enough consideration is just plain stupid, it takes so much time and effort to stabilize things .... So I really the aspect where modern and traditional value is being used in this manga

READING the comments and i saw bunch of comments that the king cheated, it feels so funny and sad like bro BRING JUSTICE TO THE KING.
Anyway i know that they were not informed yet about the not cheating yet hahahhah
And reading this type of world building is kinda refreshing, cuz most of the fantasy world like this kinda just want to force democracy morals to the monarchy era. Which i kinda feel it something wrong cuz it feels like you are constructing a castle without a based structure, and it will easily fall down.
