Right? Right!???? He's such a dumbass!! Oh I'm so pissed! But he also has people wanting him to be suspicious of Yuanne so.. I'm still pissed! Also, the self-sacrifice is beautiful and all, but I hate it! I absolutely hate the 'self-sacrificing FL' trope.
holy shit, this is peak angst. she's doing something incredibly self-sacrificial because she loves him and she gave him a chance to share the burden with her, 'cause if he loved her he'd be too heartbroken by her departure and that would defeat the purpose of her plan, which is to help him live a happy life. she couldn't have been more considerate of him. but he couldn't say that he loves her and although a part of her wanted to tell him everything so she wouldn't carry that burden alone, she's relieved that he couldn't say it, because then she can go on with her plan without worry that he'll be too hurt by her leaving. she's so smart and so, so selfless, it's beautiful. he is a fool and a coward but it's understandable considering everything he's been through. but my god... once he learns the truth... that will be so satisfying... how could he not even suspect that she's doing it out of love for him... she's leaving right after telling you that she loves you? after literally fully healing you? you damned fool!!!
