it's so beautiful how even after knowing that yahiro (the teacher) was yosuke in his past life, yoshitake couldn't come to love yosuke because he was a different person, he wasn't the yahiro that he loved even if they looked the same. on the other hand, i believe that yahiro easily gave up his consciousness to yosuke because he could resonate with the love that yosuke felt for mikumo because it was similar to what he felt for yoshitake
