I did too, I thought it was stupid that they split up, but the author made a point of showing the phone being thrown and they didn't show the other dude being taken out.
Thank fucking god. They split up, the other policeman knew what the situation was and that fvcking bastard just threw away the phone. They will probably find blood, maybe Inseop got rid of the stone, but he couldn't have cleaned up the forest.
