also let's not forget the whole fiasco with the parents. Like they were less homophobic and more "we can't take this seriously" but still...realistically, going through that and then almost being outed...when his first relationship ended up bad for the same reason...
Like yes garam is wrong for leaving but it feels like a natural reaction. Or I guess overreaction
Getting upset is valid but man, Garam is making it seem like he didn't fuck Jae earlier (HIS OWN FUCKING BIRTHDAY). He hasn't apologized for that yet but just because Jae has now made a bigger issue, he gets to leave and be a victim, the only victim, the only person who got hurt? Fuck no. Imo, he has no right to just pack up and leave without personally telling Jae he wants space or apologize for his birthday.
Their dynamic is making Jae to be always wrong and Garam to be always right (at least in Garam's perspective). It's like Jae has no right to get hurt or be upset all because he's previously a homophobe. How long does Jae need to PAY for all the sins he committed before he can feel hurt and be apologized to?

i already knew the comment section was gonna be all up in garam's ass for having VALID concerns about being outed... was it a good idea to leave without saying anything? no. was it right for jaehyuk to declare their relationship in public without talking about it with garam first? ALSO NO. you guys are forgetting that before they got together jaekhyuk was INCREDIBLY HOMOPHOBIC towards garam, who already has past trauma about not being accepted as a gay man. yes jaehyuk meant well but he was wrong for backing garam into a corner like that infront of his friends.
