Honestly, Jo’s character feels like he was so fucking useless to create now. I get people like Tj which is fine but I really don’t like how he treated Ian and Ian just accepted it. I personally would’ve been fine if Jo wasn’t created at all, because it feels like a copout type of response for someone who isn’t willing to work on themselves and go back to the old ways they used to be in
this is why i actually think she mightve changed up the plot a bit. obv just a speculation, but ive reread this 1000 times & i noticed there were times when jo was........ weird. & i thought it would AT LEAST get addressed but it never did ? this combined w a lot of other stuff & maybe she js didn't wanna go down that route bc she either didn't think she could execute it well or maybe smth else. but yeah as it is now jo turned out to be pretty useless, though people do say his point was to make ian realise that he wanted a normal life just w tj, but like. WHAT DID JO LEARN ????? DID HE GAIN ANYTHING ?? idk man

It does seem extremely rushed, and while I can understand that she felt like she may not have been able to execute it well, it just feels like a bit of a copout and makes Jo just seem extremely useless now. I mean I’m glad Ian is happy, but it’s also upsetting bc poor fucking Jo

hmm ive been the BIGGEST tjian truther for years so im happy as fuck obv BUTTTT. the ending was sozosososo rushed sigh i could tell tj was the endgame for a while but she just skipped over so many plot points. there was foreshadowing for jo to be more than a plot device but that's what he was till the end, important parts were rushed over, s3 js sucked as a whole honestly. which does make me think maybe she's in a hurry bc the fandoms getting to her now....... even rn she's been getting told to kill herself and people are talking shit about her father etc. so its pretty disheartening.
