the whole explanation that remilia could love Angel because he lovee Emi's remi os absurd to me. yea, i get that Remi thinks that because to her Emi deserves love more than her but..Aghhhhhh. Remilia deserves love too and for her true self, not someone she acts like. Angel doesn't really love her, He thinks he does but he truly loves Emi.
When you put it that it's really sad. Angel does love Emi's version of Remi. But I think Remi still feels happiness being with him. She knows she doesn't love him genuinely when he confesses so she says I genuinely think I can be happy with him. Maybe she comes to love him and he loves aspects of Remi herself that aren't Emi's versio the more time they spend together. Remi might just be genuinely happy living like Emi would have. Since Emi is the only person who has genuinely loved her she lives happy simply with that fact. It's a bit of a reach but still. I feel like Remi Is happy with her family, now that Emi is her child and is surrounded by people who like her.
yea, i get that. maybe im thinking too deep into this. cuz yea remi is happy with him and his current family. but thatks kinda sad(?) thing for me. remi loves angel bc angel loves emi (remi when she acts like emi), and remi loves emi (platonic). she doesn't care that about it, and yea she's happy. but it just makes me feel like a bit sad. Bc doesn't Remi deserves someone who loves Remi for who she IS... Emi is that person, yea. That's why I think that maybe Remi and Emi should've ended up together. OR if you think it's platonic, Angel and Emi should've ended up together, with Remi either having no romance, or finding someone who loves her for her real personality. Idk, that's just my thoughts. I do agree that Remilia is happy in her current family, with Angel and Emi. But, I keep thinking, wouldn't Angel notice? spending years together, wouldn't he notice how Remi is different from Emi (if she doesn't keep pretending), what would his thoughts be?
i still feel iffy about remilia and angel's relationship. don't you feel that angel fell in love with emi, not remilia? since with him, remilia doesn't show her true self and pretends to be like emi. also, i don't even think remilia even likes angel that much. honestly, i feel like this story could have done without romance,. their relationship just feels like a lie
