But this isnt dark romance it's toxic BL which is completely different set of rules. From my 10+ years of reading I can confidently say he's genuinely good for now.
He is not good but not bad as others guys ryujin come across considering type of world this is we can assume prince is not saint but he never beat up ryujin and in story he is his comfort zone till he did wrong to ryujin
