idk if u genuinely think this but he's canonically the best agent of the nis, the only reason why he is "acting dumb" during this arc is because he literally doesn't know what to do in this situation he has no ways to escape or do anything because he's being controlled and watched by zhenya all the time

even last season i feel like he let down his guard a lot but i feel like hes really rash and idk fs but that doesnt seem like a trait a good agent should have
