I’m not sure, but if I were Sejin, I don’t think I could ever forgive Ido. I understand that he’s changed and feels remorse now, but that doesn’t erase what happened, especially since the memories are still there. What Sejin went through, including everything involving Ido’s brother and the assault, is incredibly heavy. It’s hard to imagine carrying that kind of trauma and still choosing to love the same person. Personally, I don’t think I could do what Sejin did. But then again it's Sejin for you guys.
If you read the novel, it's much worse. "Heavy" doesn't even begin to describe how heartrending this story is. You also get a much clearer picture of how deeply Sejin's trauma runs and how hard it was for him to forgive Ido.
