The MC did not "deliberately" try to hurt the ML's feelings. No, he definitely has his flaws and can be a bit of a jerk, but at least you can say he's not aware of how he treats other people, he's mainly insensitive than being actively malicious.
The ML on the other hand, has much more self awareness of his actions, he aknowledges when the MC feels uncomfortable, he is aware of the MC's boundaries, he knows about how insecure the MC feels about himself. And yet, he continues to harass the MC basically, over and over again.
The MC used the ML for his cum? Like the ML did not do the same EXACT same thing trying to use the MC for sex and being insensitive towards his feelings about not wanting to be sexually harassed, scented, and stalked? Because anytime they're in the same room together he tries to get under his pants taking advantage of the situation knowing the MC is vulnerable because he's an Omega.
Su-ah is a grown ass man. He willingly consented to the arrangement in the first place but he wants to turn around and run away when he could've simply just told the MC about how he didn't like being used and wanted a genuine relationship instead of throwing a hissy fit.
I'm not saying the MC is a perfect angel, he is a very flawed character but to say he's just as bad as Su-ah or even worse?
If you read their other story, Never Understand, based on their writing style Su-ah is MEANT to be an asshole, you're not really supposed to fully side with him. His whole character arc will be about learning to respect the MC's feelings and boundaries while the MC, inversely, will learn to stop pushing others away and acknowledge his own feelings as well as accepting the fact that he's an Omega. This is a story about miscommunication on both sides. I don't think Su-ah is a bad person, but he does do bad things. The power dyanmic between being an Alpha vs. an Omega is too large to blame them equally.
You can have sympathy for Su-ah and his feelings without excusing his actions or saying the MC is just as bad or worse than he is.
No, they're not "both as bad as each other."
