I dont understand the part "So that when I finally return I will be strong enough to truly face and endure everything we are ment to be" from chapter 98.. About who he was talking to. Like accepting misfortune with Jo or accepting TJ as life partner? PLEASE HELP
Ian was talking about TJ.
His monologue appears right after he explains why he won’t return to TJ for now.
In his monologue he says his heart was tied to one place from the beginning, he talks about facing his past instead of running away from it.
TJ, hence CH 99. The point is he's come to the realization that he had to work on himself so he could move forward with TJ and break from the cycle they've been running on in the story. That's why he officially broke it off with Jo because he knew Jo had no part in his future. He could've, he had the choice*, but he didn't want that with him.
TJ was also finally ready to move forward with him officially. but he obviously got locked up (and I'm sure Ian knew that from Chiwoon). So Ian took those two years to work on himself and even build their 'home' that they always wanted for each other. Then he was finally ready for when TJ was released. That's why you can see the contentment in his expressions leading up to their reunion. Their 'destination' or 'home' was always each other, they just took a while to get there. Hence CH 99.

Yes, as the story progressed I thought Doyak gave enough hints and direction of what she was trying to convey. It was always Ian and TJ's love story.
