On a serious note, given their past and history. Im pretty sure that yeon made this decision because he thinks he is the one responsible for kihoon’s misfortune- that regardless of whether the red string rock would have told him and kihoon is now gone and all that crap, he wouldn’t be able to let go this nagging feeling. So i think this is for the best and definitely fits their characters. Yeon needs to get over their past and stop blaming himself for the choices he made, he also probably couldn’t forgive himself for doing the same fcking thing that started all of this- clinging to kihoon and falling in love with him. So i really think this fits for the best, especially with kihoon losing his memories LMAO if it was the other way around, this would be a repeat of their childhood and i think this fits more cuz yeon needs a catalyst to get over the bs he is thinking in his head and kihoon is a star that can bulldose his bs anywhere so kudos to him and his hardworking ass for working overtime
