I love it! I love Arvan, Ruby, Bevrian and Rovan. Even Powell and his antics grew on me. And the zombies were kinda cute when Arvan was scolding them (⌒▽⌒)
I just wish we were given more background on what caused the apocalypse in the first place. Not that I am asking for a full 5-chapter explanation but even a passing conversation on how the world got there would've sufficed. And why was it always snowing but no one seems to be wearing thick jackets? Aren't they worried about their asses freezing?
Also, aside from the cause of the apocalypse, the story had too many blanks that weren't filled that it left me with so many questions it's hard to find closure. And since I tend to overthink, I know the blank slates will bother me for at least a week. This is why I don't like open endings. I want my soul settled, thank you very much.
