Yes there's no romance but i recently come across a comment about the novel but idk if it's true though as i haven't confirmed it yet. The commenter says that mc probably finds out later about leonie/jessie having feelings for him but at that time it was already towards the ending so mc already have 'someone he really love and obsessed with' so yup nothing happens, he probably just acknowledge it and stayed friends with them till the end.
(Someone mc really love and obsessed with is that man with long silver hair and with equally long name, yes yk who he is lol and they're in a bromance)
Ngl, according to other comments, now I’m worried they’re going to change it and make him actually end up with a girl, cause apparently they keep taking out some bromance moments and adding in unnecessary fanservice that wasn’t in the original… I might let this marinate for a long time and then start reading after I get more reactions from people lol
