This was so beautiful but god did i cry at the scenes with the men. I fully understand Joy's discomfort with men and all the incidents we see in the story really make it apparent why. Joy's experience with COCSA I resonated with so badly; her pushing her feelings away because of how dismissive Hunter was to her rejecting his advances over and over again and yet he did everything to break her was heartbreaking. The two mothers being stuck in unhealthy situations was so sad to see as well, I'm glad Joy and Aerie were able to break out of that cycle with the help of one another. It was a hard read due to the SA theme but I really think it's an important portrayal, especially because so many mangas will just brush it off or romanticise it.
