Spoilers for the novel. The one time uke caught seme sleeping with the other guy was the ONLY time they slept together. Seme was having strange thoughts about the uke (because the uke was being pursued by a guy who doesn’t showed up in the manhwa but pointed out how weird the dynamic was). The other dude had feelings for seme and told him he should try it to see if he could be attracted to men. I don’t remember if seme had girlfriends before that (it’s not really specified) but seme wasn’t in a friends-with-benifits situation either.
Uke also didn’t only leave because of the catching seme thing. He found out that his relatives (uncle’s famiky) had been harassing seme for money and that seme had been paying them off. He felt like he was weighing seme down and wanted to let seme be free.
The manhwa changes a lot of stuff, like seme trying to visit uke as his apartment (most events don’t take place at hotel) and what happens after they confess their feelings (there’s a good bit of novel left after that point).
