It's a common thing to see on KDramas, not sure if it's actually realistic. This is exactly why a patriarchal society will always be hypocritical. We have fathers being the expected breadwinners and mothers the stay-at-home parent, but then society turns around and calls a mother a leech for being financially dependent on her husband? I...just have to get this off my chest before I move on to another chapter. I really hate how the gramma is forcing the hate towards Kamin. I get that she's upset about her son dying, but that wasn't Kamin's fault nor does he deserve the unwarranted hate. Calling him a leech or whatever, always yapping around, being rude and stuff, she's lucky Kamin's a great guy because if that was me, bro I'd have left to fend for myself. Nothing is scarier than psychological warfare with a fam member.
Also, does she really expect Kamin to look or feel sad when she got hospitalized when all she's ever done are rude things? Blaming his son's death on him, lamenting shi as if it's gonna bring him back from the dead, cursing the very family his son made? ugh.. I hate it there. I can only wish things will get better from now on.
