I just love how the author/writer put into words the emotional turmoil you go through with this. I relate to this so much as someone who goes with the flow just for the fun of it but end regretting wasting time on it since it didn't match the high or satisfaction I'm looking for. And I guess relationships today are wired like that we treat people like how we treat the next content to scroll, no contentment just finding another high, another thrill, another challenge that would make our heart palpitate and anxious with excitement. That's why it's fickle and boring. That's why life feels meaningless if we go on too long without it.
