PREACH!!!
Also, it's very clear that Hyobin was very impressed by the way that Hyuk took off running when he saw him in HS with that random guy. He realized he couldn't deal with his rejection and was deeply hurt with the idea of losing him. Like, if you see that the author wrote it and drawn it is because it's important to the plot ffs.
Also, not all but it's realistic the way Dojae and Euntak fight. Like couples be like that sometimes and also ITS KIND OF THE THEME OF THE STORY (????) like, come on, it's on the tittle and the vision of the couple that the artist wanted to convey. ( ̄へ ̄)
no literally I agree,, i think a lot of people just interpret the characters very differently. not liking hyobin is totally fair, but saying he doesn’t care about hyuk kind of overlooks a lot of the moments that show how much hyuk actually means to him. his hesitation always felt more like fear of getting hurt rather than a lack of feelings.
and also with euntak and dojae, their arguments feel like a really intentional part of their relationship. euntak feels things very deeply and dojae only really opens up like that with him, so it makes sense that they clash sometimes. but the important thing is that they still choose each other and try to understand each other sob this story was so amazing

i love everything abt this story omg. the characters, the pacing, the themes, the interactions…but reading the comments, i just feel like there’s a lot of misunderstanding going on.
for one, HYOBIN. like i understand just not liking his personality, and i’m not gonna force anyone to like him. but saying you hate him because he doesn’t care about hyuk is like the epitome of illiteracy. hyuk cares about hyuk the most; he’s the most important person to hyobin and this is proved over and over throughout the story. with his conversations with euntak, his inner monologue, their childhood flashbacks, and his actions and expressions. hyobin loves hyuk, but it was hard to accept hyuk’s feelings for him because he had never been in a relationship that serious. he was scared it wouldn’t last and he would get really hurt. it’d be the only breakup that would affect him that much. he also avoided hyuk’s feelings to not hurt him or his image in hyuk’s eyes.
second is people complaining that euntak and dojae argue too often or are too immature or anything else along those lines. that is literally one of the most important aspects of the story…euntak feels too much, dojae only feels with euntak. ofc they’re going to argue. but, as euntak AND dojae said, they’re going to argue, get upset with each other, and still, because they love each other, they’ll be able to make up. euntak tries so hard throughout the story to understand dojae. you think he’s only doing that cause he wants to sleep with him? because he doesn’t love him? bye. even his mother siad she’d understand if euntak wanted out the relationship. and dojae, despite being so difficult, feels normal with euntak. they’re perfect for each other
