I think I know wich manga you are talking about, but I also can't remember the name. The only one that comes to mind is Otanari Complex (but is a shoujo manga)

from what i've remeber, it started with the mc at a makeup popup ( he is like fixated on makeup), and he meets this girl (which is the other mc crossdressing) and later finds out he is his classmate so he gets closer with him anyways it rlly cute and fast forward the mc works at a makeup store
